This is a Panros  presscamera made by Ross of London.  Like the other Panros on my pages, it also has a very advanced shutter mechanism for that time period. And also only one knob for winding the shutter and setting the shutter speeds. Despite being bigger in size this one also is quite compact. This camera is the first version of series and it is still under repair due to problems with the old wood. The strut system has the same weaknesses as the later version I have. It seems strange that this shutter mechanism did not become more popular in use... I think if this mechanism had been combined with chassis of Zeiss Minimum Palmos and shutter curtain material of Thornton Pickard and lens of Ermanox it would have been a really great camera
